about

Stuff That Matters
(Autumn 2013)

I live with the fact I was once a very judgemental person and I’m still struggling with dark sides of myself. Being aware of their existence and trying to live with accepting myself as well as other people is possibly the best thing which happened to me in past years. This song refers to my deep conviction all of us should leave behind all forms of hatred, not just racism, bigotry and homophobia.

lyrics

We oppose those who tyrannize
other people without a compassion
Washing away our apathy
looking for mercy in imperfection

So this is stuff that matters
If you’re a human being
So this is stuff that matters
Reject to control things

We stand against all judgemental whores
Who think they can give you an absolution
They want to decide who you can love
But there’s no place for any rejection

I feel for you
I don’t wanna change a single thing about you

Acceptance is a way to be

So this is stuff that matters
If you’re a human being
So this is stuff that matters
Reject to control things

So this is stuff that matters
If you’re a human being
So this is stuff that matters
Wash away all prejudice!
